XBRL

In January 2009, the SEC introduced a phased mandate for filing in eXtensible Business Reporting Language (XBRL) starting with the largest companies in June 2009 and then extending to all sizes of companies over the next three years. The rules apply to all U.S. public companies and foreign private issuers.

To respond to this mandate Q4’s Web Platform now delivers a highly accurate real-time rendering of XBRL-tagged SEC filings. This new product enables users to view XBRL-formatted financial statements in an easy to read display on IR websites while helping public companies meet the SEC XBRL regulations which require them to post financial statements in interactive data formats at the same time their financial statements are submitted to the SEC.

Q4’s XBRL Solution Provides:

  • Full-compliance with the SEC Mandate
  • Highly-scalable real-time rendering of SEC filings or other XBRL Content displayed in HTML
  • Adherence to timely disclosure – your website is updated within minutes of your XBRL filing being accepted by the SEC
  • Multiple report formats for enhanced financial analysis and reporting
  • Ability to view and download XBRL reports, or share embed code through social networks and Web 2.0 applications
  • Improved discoverability of your financial information through Google and other popular search engines
  • Accurately rendered sharable ‘as reported’ views of your filings
  • ‘Trust’ in the origin of the source of the information
