Toronto, ON, Jan 23, 2006 – Rick Gossage, Chairman of Weave Communications, announced today that Darrell Heaps, President of Weave Communications, will be resigning from the company effective immediately in order to become President of Q4IR Inc., a new software company targeting the Investor Relations (IR) Market. Weave Communications will have a minority ownership in Q4IR, which will build on the leading edge ‘IR Portal’ – previously marketed under the brand name ‘Blue Sky IR Portal’ – developed in partnership by Weave Communications and Vickerson Direct Development.

“Q4IR is a win-win situation for Weave,” said Rick Gossage. “Weave will have an ownership position in a dedicated web software company, which will assure that our clients have the best possible technology platform in the new heavily regulated IR world. It also allows Weave to concentrate on the intellectual capital needed to offer clients ’Best Practices’ for delivering leading edge design, management consulting and communications strategies to two key target groups…their Investors and their Employees.”

Darrell Heaps stated, “The launch of Q4IR will allow me to focus on increasing the value to our customers through our web content management and disclosure management products. I’m very excited about the potential of our software for public companies. Early feedback indicates that our products are saving our customers time and money while reducing risk associated to regulatory and disclosure requirements.

Catherine Crofton, formerly EVP Business Development, has been named President of Weave Communications. “Catherine has been instrumental in developing our ‘Best Practices’ and has been a critical part of the management team at Weave since its inception,” said Rick Gossage. “We think that she’s the natural choice to lead our company and our clients at this exciting time.”
